For Emdat InScribe software to work properly within your windows environment (Macintosh computers are NOT supported by Emdat) , you are required to meet the following software and hardware requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- Windows 2000, Windows XP (Note: Windows 98 and NT4 users - Emdat does not support any versions of Windows prior to Windows 2000, please upgrade Windows before calling Emdat)
- RAM: 64 MB Sound Card with Speakers (or Stereo Headphones)
- Windows Internet Explorer 6 SP1 or greater (Netscape is not supported by Emdat)
- Windows Media Player: 6.4 or greater
- A monitor capable of displaying a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels
- Internet Connection: Dial up
Recommended Requirements:
- Windows XP
- RAM: 256MB
- Sound Card with Speakers (or Stereo Headphones)
- Windows Internet Explorer 6 SP1 or greater
- Windows Media Player: 9 or Greater
- A monitor capable of displaying a resolution of 1024x768 pixels
