The Emdat system provides an easy way to extract data for use by the end client, whether it be for backup purposes or to populate an Electronic Medical Records system. While many have tried to standardize on communications within the healthcare industry, it is the experience of those at Emdat that each system has designed their own interface mechanism. Because of this, Emdat's export feature has been designed to easily integrate with most systems on the market. By designing our exports generically, we can customize them for each client.
Emdat provides each client with one export, provided that it is a text export and that it closely resembles an existing export. Emdat can also customize an export, including a more complex Microsoft Word export, for an additional setup fee.
Below are some examples of exports being done from our system. These represent many common systems that we have integrated with, but it is far from a complete list.
Please note the easiest way to view each of these is to right-click on the link and choose "Save Target As." Save the document to your Desktop and view it from there. The "HL/7" documents can be viewed in Notepad.
