Philips Recorder Installation Instructions

If you have already installed the Philips DPM software that came with your recorder, follow this link for instructions on how to disable it. The Philips DPM software must be disabled before the Emdat Runtime Components can be installed and the recorder can be configured in InSync.

If you have not installed the Philips DPM software, or if you have already disabled it (as detailed above), continue by following the steps outlined in the Philips Recorder Installation Guide.

Emdat Software

One of the steps of installing and configuring your recorder will direct you to download the Emdat Runtime Components. You will also be asked to download the InSync 4.9 software.

Note: If you are experiencing problems configuring your Philips recorder while using InSync, or if you turn on the Philips recorder and hold in the scroll wheel for a few seconds and do not see the folder menu option, we suggest that you upgrade the recorder firmware.
