Fixing InScribe Sound Problems
There are several possible causes of sound problems in InScribe. If no sound comes out at all, first check the article on changing the player being used.
To open the audio device properties right click on the speaker icon on the lower right hand side of the screen by the clock and date to bring up the context menu.
Click on "Playback Devices" to open the Playback Devices window. The audio devices like speakers and headphones should all appear here. There will be a green checkmark next to the device that is being used by the computer for all sound; including InScribe.
Make sure that sound is working by clicking on the device and then clicking on the "configure" button. A new "Speaker Setup" window will appear. Click on the "Test" button to see if sound it working at all.
