How to Fix Internet Explorer 11 Blocking ActiveX Components

By default, Internet Explorer 11 blocks ActiveX components from being used by websites. These are the components that InQuiry uses to manage printing and some other functions, so the InQuiry website may not work correctly when opened in Internet Explorer 11. If this is happening, there will be a 'not allowed' symbol in the address bar as shown in the following screen shot.

To fix this, there are two options:

The first option is to click on the 'not allowed' icon and choose to turn off ActiveX filtering as shown here.

The second option is to disable ActiveX filtering from the Tools menu as shown below. By default, the menus are not visible in Internet Explorer 11, to open the menu press ALT+T
