Emdat Partners with Interfix, LLC

Emdat is pleased to announce that InterFix's BenchMark KB Online subscription service, which includes Stedman's Medical Dictionary and a National Physician Database, has been integrated with Emdat InScribe, version 4.9x.

Once you purchase an annual BenchMark KB subscription online, you can immediately activate the integrated options by entering your credentials on the InScribe Login screen.  An AHDI Associate membership is included with the purchase of Benchmark KB.   Please note that if you are already a member of AHDI, you can get a discount on Benchmark KB through the AHDI website.

After signing into InScribe with the BenchMark KB service, the Stedman’s Medical Dictionary will be installed on your PC.  From that point forward, any spellchecking activity will use the Stedman's Medical Dictionary, the Emdat dictionary, and also your custom dictionary.

Additionally, with a Client’s permission, the Benchmark KB’s National Physician Database will be accessed when you search for an Associate.  The results are displayed in the same window as your Client’s Associate database — results from the Client will be in one tab, results from BenchMark KB in another.  Given that the BenchMark KB database is national in scope, you can narrow your search by city, state or zip code along with using partial first and last name.
